We often see the same thing at Tradeshows… Tired stands, exhausted employees, bland gifting and worn-out messaging. It takes something special to stand out of the crowd, something better. At Automechanika Johannesburg 2017, it seems like Gilbarco AFS has managed to do exactly that. “Building Better Business” is their motto, the driving force behind their endless pursuit of continues improvement, and, as their Group Marketing Executive, Sean McQuade puts it: “We aim to show our customers that we value their trust in us to build their businesses with them”.
The Automechanika Johannesburg Tradeshow is a leading international trade fair for the automotive service industry. Targeting trade visitors from the Sub-Saharan Region, Gilbarco AFS is perfectly positioned for this market. Among numerous exhibitors, Gilbarco AFS did not shy away from stealing the attention in Hall 6 of the Expo Centre Johannesburg (Nasrec), with a beautifully designed stand, interactive technology, powerful product displays and an intriguing competition (#Let’s-Go-Driving anyone?), the Fortive-owned organisation had a truly successful exhibition. Their Retail Solution offerings were front and centre.
The launch of two powerful offerings, COMPASS and the Frontier MPD, was front and centre at their stand, providing stand visitors with some insight into fuel management solutions, reporting efficiency, business support and reporting
COMPASS – Gilbarco AFS’ new integrated forecourt management solution - is a powerful, compact solution package designed for the dealer owned forecourt. It makes some bold statements; “ No running out of fuel. No more fraud or loss. High productivity”, but in a time where 2nd best doesn’t cut it anymore, Gilbarco AFS has positioned itself to break away from the pack, and provide actionable insights through their solution offerings, no matter what the scale or requirement. COMPASS offers more than just insight. Being upgradable and scalable, this integrated solution offers owners the opportunity to grow with their business investment, ensuring easy upgrading of Automatic Tank Gauging or Controller technologies.
FRONTIER, on the other hand, definitely drew attention on their stand, standing tall at 2.3 meters and owning every inch of space it was positioned on. The “Art of Dispensing” is seen in their new Frontier Series 3 MPD, an excellent choice for high throughput sites. It delivers a timeless image, high quality performance, security and reliability. To differentiate a site from the next is no easy task, especially in South Africa, but the Frontier claims that it can do the job. And by the sight of it, one could be inclined to agree.
Gilbarco AFS exhibited at Automechanika Johannesburg in Halls 6, Stand E02 and won Silver for their stand concept, design and build.
